I’ve been fortunate for the past (little over a) month to be hosted freely by a friend. As we all know, though, all good things must come to an end. The end for that has come, although a little sooner than I expected. I was supposed to have until January 2nd to find a new host, but last night the upcoming server change went through and my website went down, without my CuteNews entries being backed up.
I went to my Google Reader, where I had subscribed to my own RSS feed, and would you know that it had all my active news? I copied them to CuteNews, so now I’m only missing about 11 entries that were archived.
Luckily, I store all my website files on my computer, so they were good and ready to be re-uploaded when I got the e-mail from Nadiyya that I’ve been accepted for free hosting from f.erocio.us. Is my life lucky or what?
Anyways, this is just a quick blog to say that there may be bugs & graphics missing here or there because of the changes that have happened. Everything should be back up and running smoothly by Tuesday night.

That's great to hear that you didn't lose all your entries! I think I should back-up Cutenews more often lol Have fun on NYE and have a beautiful 2008!

Wow, lucky you eh? I think I'd go a bit crazy if my host deleted my files.. Though I do pay so. Congrats on the new host

Happy New Year!! Well that's very good that you were able to recover your blog entries & you saved all your webpages! Congrats on finding a new free host. I agree with your previous blog too… it's very important to communicate. If you don't say something when something bothers you, these things build & build until you burst & get really mad a your partner. You may also have the wrong idea about something & you wont know it unless you talk to the person. So yeah, I agree.
