I can’t believe I’m getting sick again! Just Christmas week I got the stomach virus….even though that only lasted for a day, it was still bad. Now, the crazy temperature changes have gotten to me and I have a runny nose and my throat is starting to feel sore. First thing tomorrow I’m going to buy Tylenol Severe Allergy. That stuff really works wonders. I’m gonna knock this cold out before it starts becoming a hindrance!
I also realize that the comparisons of 20o in Florida to the temperatures in New York was an exaggeration. I’m used to the tropical climates of Jamaica and Florida, though, so I really don’t welcome this temporary cold weather. I can’t wait for it to be over!
Other than that, I bought two of my school books today. I still have to buy one more, and possibly a clicker (I’m going to search for it tomorrow because I definitely had one!), but it costs too much so I’ve bid on eBay for one and hope I get it. Bad thing is the auction’s not over for another 5 days. If anything, I’ll just do without it. I’m not going to pay $100+ for a psych book that I won’t read (I hardly ever do…) and can only resell for $30 (if I’m lucky) at the end of the semester. I also sold a book from last semester…got back some of my money!
2008 has been really peaceful for me so far. Nothing really interesting has happened, but nothing drastically bad has happened, either. I hope it stays this way!

if you're lacking in money, you could try hooking - i've heard that pays well if you get a pimp that doesn't take 95% of your commissions xD yeaah…but i'm sorry to hear you're sick. it's that time of year =( most of my friends are sick, i have a head cold, and my mom called me last night to complain about influenza. tylenol severe allergy - is that that stuff that tastes like utter ASS but works like a charm?

Haha nadiyya!!. Really I'm posting this to change the time, cuz' for me right now it's 1:08AM. I just fixed it and hope it's right now…as opposed to the 5:01PM it was showing for you a few mins. ago.

I live in NY. And its been below zero all week. Once down to -15. And wow thats you sold your books and got some money back. And get swell soon.

Aww, sorry to hear you're sick. Hope you feel better soon. You're from Jamaica. I'm from the Caribbean as well. I guess getting use to cold weather will take a while.

Hey thanks for commenting on my site. Appreciate it a lot. I hope you getting better now. Hate getting sick cos it just ruined everything eh… Textbooks today is getting more and more expensive. I bought a bunch of books while I was in university and it cost a lot. And now there are on my shelf picking up the dust haha…

Aww I hope you can avoid a bad cold. That's definitely not what you want in the beginning of the year. 2008 has been the same way for me as well, nothing really exciting yet but nothing bad so we'll see. <3 Voni

Oh man that reminds me I seriously need a book for one of my classes, oh man!!!! I need to hurry with that before I'm shit out of luck. Anyhow, sorry to hear you're getting sick =[ And with a stomach virus? Yikes! Sounds painful.

Ya school books are so expensive and you don't nearly enough money back when you sell it back. I dread buying my books b/c they're so ridiculously priced, ughh~ Ew, hopefully you're feeling better now. I got sick the day after Xmas and was feeling like I was catching a cold again the other day. It sucks being sick over and over. =______=;

I'm from Florida too. This weather has been CRAZY. Two days ago the high was in the upper 30's, yesterday the high was in the 60's!! No wonder you're sick! I just got over it thank goodness! Hope you feel better!

Get well soon! I'm ill as well. As usual. Is that 20 degrees F? Stupid question probably, but I live in the UK and we do everything in degrees C, so 20 for January is warm! Lmao.
