Open Hiatus…Can I Call It That?
January 24, 2008 Filed Under: College, Finances, Sweet Thang 262 words
I’m going to be doing background updates. That means fixing pages, bugs, and familiarizing myself with WordPress. Apparently there’s more to it than just customizing the blog to match your layout, so I’m going to take a while to learn about Widget-capable sidebars and the like. It will take me some time because I have so much going on with school, and I really need to focus. I have a Biology & Pre-calculus test tomorrow, and I know I forgot I had to submit a project topic Monday for Social Psych. That means it’s late and overdue! I have a hard time doing what I set out to do. =(
I’ll still blog as usual, it’s just that this free theme will be up for a while. I think I’ve transferred all the links that I should have up (affiliates, rotations, ads)…if not, just leave me a lovely comment and the issue will be fixed promptly.
On a better note, I’ve made $98.40 in the past few days using Smorty. It took me about 2 1/2 hours total to write the 10 blog posts that I got that much for (I’m a fast writer). Now, I’m just waiting for the posts to be approved (which they should, because I followed all the rules) and then I’ll post a screen cap of the PayPal payout once I get it.
The MorningStar Home School Academy: Online Christian Private School
January 24, 2008 Filed Under: General 189 words
The MorningStar Academy is accredited, affordable, and offers the convenience of completing high school both at any pace and place. The curriculum includes the K-12 requirements for advancing through grade levels and eventually earning your high school diploma (with a GPA), but it also includes a Biblical curriculum.
During school hours you can get in contact with a guidance counselor or with any of your child’s teachers. Support, encouragement, and resources are freely shared and among some of the best practices that The MorningStar Academy uses. The course supplies may include books, videos, compact discs (CD), daily devotions, and other interactive materials. Contests and group activities are employed at times, to provide motivation and peer support, to help students succeed.
A “spiritually enriching and Christ-honoring education” is important. Online tours and a great customer service department are available to aid in your decision of whether this academy can meet you and your child(ren)’s needs. There are also several payment options, including full payment and monthly installments, that can help make your dream of a Christian private school a reality.
