Vicious Cycle & Tax Return Time

I’ve been going through a vicious cycle lately…it starts at tired and ends at lazy. If it’s not one, then it’s the other. I’ve been too lazy to even do my favorite thing…eat! I mean, if the food comes to me (gotta love the little sister!), I have no problem stuffing my face. On the other hand, if I should have to go downstairs to get it myself, I’d rather starve. It’s not a good thing!

I can’t wait until three more weeks have passed. Why? That marks the end of two of my classes (Social Psychology & Behavior Modification), so hopefully I can focus more on the other three. That does mean that I have mid-terms this week for those two classes, and finals for those two classes along with mid-terms for the other three classes at the same time. It might take quite a bit of mental energy to understand the last sentence…good luck.

On a less happy note (because I’ve been oh-so-happy in the last two paragraphs…), I’m upset about tax time this year. Last year I got a whopping $1,724 because I made about $20,000 and therefore got the maximum Hope Tax Credit ($1,650). And that was with my mom claiming me as her dependent. This year, I can’t file for the credit unless my mom doesn’t claim me as a dependent, and the chances of that happening are very slim. If it does, I’ll get $1,791. If it doesn’t? A lame $506. She is willing to claim the credit for me and give me what’s due, but I don’t think they’ll give her the maximum amount if she files…they’re not even doing that for me! I would just be getting $778 because of the loose change I made this year. I made about $4,000 less than last year and had more expenses than the year before. I was planning on getting about $2,000 and using it to pay off some debt.

I have a problem. Like a lot of times I don’t want to eat.. I’m just not hungry
, but then when I do eat I eat and eat and eat and you can see the food on me. (Bloated Stomach) xD

The gym teacher said that’s bad because you can train your metabolism?
I was confused.

Anywho, hopefull if your mom claims you you can get the amount you want. Me, not having any money at all would be totally happy with the 506, but if you can get more, I understand why you are upset..

Ah, that lazy-tired cycle sounds a little too familiar to me :) I’m often too lazy to eat or even go to the bathroom!

Rofl…taxes suck. Last year I did them through H&R Block’s free version online and got a nice hunk of change back. BUT, stupid me, I never printed the signature form to mail in. So over the next 8 months, the IRS kept mailing me angry letters telling me to redo my taxes and sign it or I won’t be able to file my taxes online this year. I never did redo them or sign them, partially because I’m lazy, partially because I hate the IRS, mostly because I read the letter, put it aside, and forgot about it.

So now I have to do my taxes the old fashioned way: frustration, 8 different copies because I screwed up the first seven, snapped pencils, exploded pens, and a 40-something cent stamp and envelop I can’t afford. Screw the IRS. I’m not at all a fan of Republicans when they run for President, but the one thing that grabbed my attention was that Romney wants to “abolish the IRS.” HOW do you get rid of that and deal with $10 billion worth of taxes otherwise?…

And that spam thing; she sent me a comment asking me to vote for her, too. It wasn’t entirely spam, though, because she DID write four words pertaining to that blog…

I let her stay on the comments…I’m not sure why. She’s a hostee of someone I host, so that might be the reason. But then I went to her site and noticed she wasn’t following my rules. I just might suspend her account. >.<
