Vicious Cycle & Tax Return Time
January 31, 2008 Filed Under: College, Finances 322 words
I’ve been going through a vicious cycle lately…it starts at tired and ends at lazy. If it’s not one, then it’s the other. I’ve been too lazy to even do my favorite thing…eat! I mean, if the food comes to me (gotta love the little sister!), I have no problem stuffing my face. On the other hand, if I should have to go downstairs to get it myself, I’d rather starve. It’s not a good thing!
I can’t wait until three more weeks have passed. Why? That marks the end of two of my classes (Social Psychology & Behavior Modification), so hopefully I can focus more on the other three. That does mean that I have mid-terms this week for those two classes, and finals for those two classes along with mid-terms for the other three classes at the same time. It might take quite a bit of mental energy to understand the last sentence…good luck.
On a less happy note (because I’ve been oh-so-happy in the last two paragraphs…), I’m upset about tax time this year. Last year I got a whopping $1,724 because I made about $20,000 and therefore got the maximum Hope Tax Credit ($1,650). And that was with my mom claiming me as her dependent. This year, I can’t file for the credit unless my mom doesn’t claim me as a dependent, and the chances of that happening are very slim. If it does, I’ll get $1,791. If it doesn’t? A lame $506. She is willing to claim the credit for me and give me what’s due, but I don’t think they’ll give her the maximum amount if she files…they’re not even doing that for me! I would just be getting $778 because of the loose change I made this year. I made about $4,000 less than last year and had more expenses than the year before. I was planning on getting about $2,000 and using it to pay off some debt.
Consider Outsourcing Your Essay-Writing

Let’s face it–writing an essay is not easy. It takes hours of our time and drains Joules of energy. And after doing all that hard work, we’re still not guaranteed a good grade! What if we could outsource this task? The answer is that we probably would. With the writers at Custom-Writing.org, outsourcing our essay and research paper needs is easy.
We no longer have to fret because our deadline is just hours away; their writers can complete the given task in as little as 6 hours. We set our own terms for our essays, and benefit from contacting our custom writer throughout the whole process by e-mail, live chat, instant messaging, or through the order status control panel. And we have the guarantee that our paper will be 100% free from plagiarism and have all sources cited correctly, in the format that we’ve chosen.
In the past, I’ve considered using a blind author for help on an essay, but never did because many of them just offered old term papers that students have already turned in. Now that schools are using turnitin.com and other plagiarism detection devices, that would be a stupid move that could cause suspension or expulsion from school. From the thesis to the conclusion, Custom-Writing.org is tailored to our needs. It’s original material that hasn’t been used before. We can have our paper written quickly, and submit it to our professor without fear of negative consequences.
Domain Registration

Everyone wants to register domain names these days. Do you remember when you first got yours? I remember registering my first domain name. I wasn’t satisfied with one, so I had to buy another. I get a headache thinking of how much money I could have saved if I had registered all my past & current domain names at the same time. Another thing that gets me stressed, although quite a bit less, is deciding on a domain name. For me, it took a few days. I scribbled names until one stayed with me. It crept into my dreams, I thought about it whenever I was hungry. I knew SWEET-THANG.ORG was the domain name I wanted. That was a few years ago, when I registered this domain (SWEET-THANG.NET) there was still some legal mumbo jumbo at the place I registered the .ORG at that stopped me from getting it.
Pay Less Domains has solutions for all your domain registration needs. There are articles on choosing a domain name, and there are also bulk discounts. Although the company has a particular interest in catering to Australian customers (.com.au), they have many domain name extensions available, including the more popular .COM, .ORG, and .NET. Their website is organized, they offer free domain parking, e-mail, and other services, and have several paid (although they are attractively priced) web hosting packages.
