Annoying Things

If you want to read a real blog entry, click here. This entry is just to talk about how annoying it is to receive a comment having nothing to do with my site. I just received one asking me to vote for someone in a Site Of The Month contest because “they love my site.” How generic and….desperate! The person didn’t even have the nerve to join mine or at least comment about my entry first.

If that person is you, please know that I do forgive you. Just don’t do it again, because even WordPress recognized that it was spam!

Ebay Bid Sniper

Anyone who loves bidding on auctions will appreciate Free Web Based Ebay Bid Sniper. Why? Because this free Ebay bid sniper makes winning auctions for the items you love easier. Just the fact that it’s free was enough to get me interested. And the fact that it increases the odds of me winning an auction definitely kept my attention.

This web site officially opened 2 days ago (January 30th), so there are bound to be many questions about the service. To prepare for this, TopBidr has support forums that not only help you to understand what the service is all about, but it will also keep you up to speed by highlighting upcoming auctions.

Eventually you’ll have the added benefit of being able to meet with your seller/buyer to discuss problems live as opposed to Ebay’s e-mail system that could end up taking days before settling an offer. This will work out well for me when I have to buy books again this Fall. This semester I bid on a book and didn’t end up getting the order because I didn’t go back online in time to bid again. Hopefully this service will prove useful and fall through on its claims.

My Favorite uVme Game

Are you a fan of online gaming? I just went to uVme’s gaming website and found my new favorite game of the moment. I’m a big arcade game fan, my favorite used to be PacMan. Now my favorite game is Bubble Trouble. Bubble Trouble is a game that has an undersea scene featuring a character known as “Bob.” It has realistic sound effects and graphics, so playing the game is like actually being Bob under the sea.

The point of the game is to avoid the mines by moving Bob around. There is no second chance for each round. This was kind of a negative experience for me, because even when I play handheld games, I usually use cheat codes so that I can start right back where I left off. You do have three lives, though, so you can try to finish your game within those three lives before having to start again from the very beginning.

You do have to sign up in order to play the games, but there are quite a few games to choose from. Also, the sign-up process is quick, and best of all, free. The minimum deposit is $5, and then you choose your entrance fee for each game. The system will automatically match you with a user that has selected the same entry fee. If you find that you aren’t using the services much, then you have the option to withdraw the money, as long as it’s at least $10.00.
