If you want to read a real blog entry, click here. This entry is just to talk about how annoying it is to receive a comment having nothing to do with my site. I just received one asking me to vote for someone in a Site Of The Month contest because “they love my site.” How generic and….desperate! The person didn’t even have the nerve to join mine or at least comment about my entry first.
If that person is you, please know that I do forgive you. Just don’t do it again, because even WordPress recognized that it was spam!

I just love how free-hosted people (mostly) will drop by your site and beg for you to vote for them to win a domain or give you fake compliments and then beg for something, usually a link or return comment. My rule is if they can’t spare a sentence about my post, I can’t spare a second on them. Well, except to tell them they’re stupid and rude. I’m just a rude person like that.
Seriously, that’s got to be my biggest pet peeve on the Internet, when people can’t even comment on my post when they comment on my post.

I hate when people do that, it’s pathetic, I never understand how people can do that, like I can’t imagine myself doing that

I’m seriously contemplating putting up rules to comment on my site. If they can’t follow the rules, the comment will be deleted. It really irks me when people leave comments unrelated to the post like “hey, nice site” “omg i love your layout”, it really bothers me. It’s usually the young webmasters who do these type of things T_T.

It sucks, that most people just comment blogs to get one back, get another hit and be satisfied. No, it’s pathetic. I read everyones blog, sometimes they’re pointless blogs, extremely long, or totally out of random; but at least I read them right? I treat other sites how I want mine to be treated, and begging and trying to increase hits just isn’t one of them. On the bright side, you made a good point and hopefully that person(s) will not do it again.
