Find The Best Credit Card For You
February 8, 2008 Filed Under: General 287 words
Figuring out which credit card to apply for is no easy task. If you ask friends or family, you’ll notice that each one has an opinion of which company offers the best credit cards based on personal experience. Sometimes this gets tricky because their bad experience may have something to do with what they did (like making a late payment and then noticing their interest rate skyrocketed), and no one wants to admit that their bad luck is actually bad planning/lack of responsibility.
I currently have five credit cards. When I got my first one, I decided that I would only get three for credit building purposes. When I got into a money jam, I applied for two more so that I transfer balances among them until I had the money to actually pay off the debt. I’m two over my ideal limit, so I’ll need to decide which two cards I’m going to pay off and cancel. In my quest to find out which ones to cancel, I came across the website CardFusion.com.
CardFusion.com has listings of all the best credit cards. If there is a specific type of credit card that you’re looking for, Card Fusion can help you find the best card in that particular category. Categories include poor credit, college student, and the ever popular travel and rewards! My all-time favorite credit cards are the ones that offer cash back. Although you have to spend about $5,000 to get $50 (or in the case of my cash rewards card, $1,000 on gas/grocery/pharmacy stuff), it’s still worth it to get something eventually as opposed to nothing ever.
Only 5 Hours For Smorty Articles?

EDIT 02/13/2008 12:17AM
It is now written in Smorty FAQ:
How long do I have to write a post after I have accepted it?
You need to complete and submit your post in your Smorty admin panel within 24 hours from you first accepting it
So I guess they were toggling around with timing and decided on 24 hours as opposed to five or 72.
END OF EDIT
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve completed so many offers or what, but Smorty keeps upsetting me. First I realized that after a certain amount of offers, all offers that you accept decreases your Smorty score. I don’t think that counts for anything, so after sending them 3 e-mails, receiving a generic response once, and being ignored twice, I decided to let it slide. I figured they penalize people for doing more posts, which is fine if that’s what they wanna do. When my time is up I’ll just join a different company.
Anyways, today I accepted an offer to find out that I only have five hours to complete it instead of the original 72…which is posted in their FAQ. I’m wondering if it’s: a) a glitch in the system, b) a penalty for having so many posts, or c) their new time limit. The only thing I like about them is that they actually payout every 7 days. The 7th, 14th, and I’m guessing the 21st and 28th. I was surprised when I got my money yesterday since it was a Thursday. I had assumed the payout was Fridays. I assume a lot.
I have noticed that there’s been more offers (and more interesting offers, too) lately such as Cetaphil and ZoneAlarm, products that I have used in the past or still use currently.
Cetaphil Has Great Skin Care Products

My best friend in high school swore by Cetaphil face wash. Because of that, when I visited her for a week and forgot my own face wash, I was forced to try Cetaphil’s. I was rewarded with a great smell, soothing, hypo-allergenic experience. Ever since that day, I’ve been hooked on Cetaphil products.
Cetaphil skin moisturizers are the Cetaphil products that I like most. That’s because I have combination skin, so I need moisturizers that aren’t greasy, but that also provide enough moisture for my dry areas. The moisturizing cream (pictured left) is something that I can’t live without. My dry areas are generally my knees, elbows, and of course the heels of my feet. Without this cream I’d be one ashy girl!
The Cetaphil line is worth checking out. They have many different products and moisturizers to suit all the different skin types. Because all skin is not created equal. Their line is noncomedogenic, hypoallergenic, non-greasy and fragrance-free. It’s a line that should help you with your skin care needs without provoking new problems.
