Is It Called A Navel Or Belly Button Ring?

FOR CHEAP BELLY BUTTON RINGS GO TO ADORNED SOUL.
Check out this if you’re looking for a Jamaican Pot Leaf navel ring.

Even though I lack spontaneity and couldn’t jump up and go have my belly button pierced today with my sister’s friend, I still decided to finally go and get it done. Her friend bought two rings and decided to wait until they arrive to get the piercing. We’re going to go together.

I also bought three rings at Body Candy. I’m such a dork! Why is it that people who are, for the most part, BROKE always spend money that they should really save for something more important? I guess getting my rebate check really made me realize that I should spend at least $100 on myself. I’m halfway there, by the way. It was so hard to limit myself to just three. I’m glad they didn’t charge for shipping & handling or tax. And of course…there are pictures. ;)

The bad news set in when I called a piercing place that a friend recommended. I quickly learned the shop will take my jewelry, but only if it’s an actual circular ring. I’m going to call the one I planned to go to in the first place tomorrow and see if they’ll use the body jewelry instead of an actual navel ring. That’s the only reason I got ring #1. I read online that the jewelry is easier to clean than the ring and that it’ll promote keeping it in until the piercing is fully healed (3-4+ months) because it’s much easier to find a likable one.

I can’t wait to get them! I think they’re all super cute. And regarding ring #3…No, I don’t smoke marijuana. It was the closest ring I could get to something representative of my Jamaican heritage.

As previously written, we’re going in to get the piercing soon after the rings arrive. The free shipping was 2-7 days, so I guess at the latest I’ll have the operation the week after next. I’ll make a post about how it went. I know that I’m going to buy more once the healing occurs. That’s if I keep up with the regime of silly tasks necessary to keep the dang thing from getting infected. If that happens, I’ll just say goodbye to the rings and give them to my boyfriend’s sister or one of my friends.

I’d love to get my belly button pierced some time. But I have too much belly! Haha. When I finish losing the weight I want to, I’ll get it done for a reward to myself.

If I didn’t now have a blob of fat around my waistline and was a little less of a pasty biznatch, I’d love to get my belly button pierced. It looks fabulous. :) So pretty! Those are some gorgeous decorations you bought for your piercing. They’ll look beautiful on you, I am sure. :D

I’m So Excited…

My navel rings took almost forever to arrive, but they finally graced my mailbox today. They are so cute but at the same time so little. That’s kind of intimidating to me, LOL. Now I’m excited to go get the piercing done. I don’t know…
