All Nighter?
April 3, 2008 Filed Under: College, Life, Sweet Thang 299 words
I think I may be staying up all night today (or tonight…whatever). I have to finish writing a lab report that is worth 8% of my grade, and while it is not really that hard to do…I am stressing about it because it is worth such a huge portion of our overall grade.
The next thing that is bugging me is Chemistry. My clicker somehow got lost and I really do not know where or how. I always keep it in my car, but when I searched in there it was nowhere to be found. I missed a few clicker questions on Wednesday and I am going to miss a few more tomorrow. That is actually the whole point of going to class, so I guess after I finish writing the lab report I will sleep in until 10:30 and just go to Biology class. What is the point of waking up at 7AM for an 8AM class if I won’t even be able to participate? I will be grouchy and upset the whole class.
That does mean that I have to spend majority of this weekend studying for Chemistry, though. That sucks because I also have a research paper due for Biology in two weeks. Seriously, I cannot wait for this madness to end. It is getting closer and closer to the end of the semester, and I am actually happy about it. Sometimes I hate when school is ending, but this is by far the most strenuous semester I have had. The worst part is that the only reason it has been so stressful is because of me. I am getting lazier and lazier as the days go by, and quite frankly, laziness should be a crime.
Decorating A Home

My aunt is an interior designer, so she is always making suggestions as to what type of products we should be using in our home. She made our curtains from scratch and did extensive decorating in the living room. Recently, she’s been recommending electrical supplies to us.
The main electrical supplies that she’s been recommending are fluorescent lights. Apparently, she was surfing online and found a great website kklite.com, that offers such lites inexpensively. Of course, I had to take a look because she would keep bugging me about it until I did.
So, I went to the website and I took a look. I found plenty of great lights, plug sockets (apparently called “GFCI Outlets”), and other things that we really need in our home. The pendant light we had in our dining room has been out for about 3 years or more (since hurricane Wilma) and a few of our plug sockets are loose. We’ve been using a lamp downstairs and avoiding use of the sockets. The time has passed long ago where we should have fixed them. Now that we have found this website that offers these items (and many more) at great, inexpensive prices, it may just be time to do our spring cleaning and renovations!

The online backup business has helped plenty of small businesses to gain profits. Remote Backup Systems offers the software necessary to get such profits. It is fully brandable as your own solution, so you don’t have to worry about your customers knowing that you are using third-party software. It is also an easy way to gain profits because you just set it up and then forget about it.
You pay once for a perpetual-use license and then you are free to use the software without ongoing payments. You do need an SQL server, but deployment is easy and automatic. There is high security and automatic scheduling available so you don’t have to do the backups yourself.
Such services may be especially beneficial to those who already offer services related to computers–ISPs, VARs, and other managed service providers. It may also be beneficial for a normal person who wants to an extra income but doesn’t want to put in the time and effort necessary to get a second job.
