It is some show about females rapping to be the best and win (i.e. another reality show…) $100,000 or some other big amount of money. It is actually quite ridiculous. I mean, it is a great shot for the girls, but it is not one of the most interesting reality shows that I have watched. Khia was on it, only to be eliminated first because they told the contestants to be original and she sang a song which came out a while back, “Respect Me.” It was kind of funny because I did not know how she looked and I hear her rapping it and I am like “That’s Khia’s song! I wonder does she know she could get eliminated for stealing someone’s song!” And then she was eliminated for recycling her own! LMAO.
I have a job offer for $300/wk. Only thing is that it would be 45hr./wk. That is $6.67/hr. and no overtime pay. Yeah, it is my aunt’s shop…but I could make more working at Mickey D’s! That is plenty of work to be doing in one week. For so little bit of money. I think I can only consider that as a job until I get another one, although that would mean I would not have time to search for a job since it is primarily in the day and no wacko would hire someone that comes looking for a job in the night….or as a last resort, if worse becomes worst and I cannot find a job. That should not happen, though, because everywhere I go is hiring. Most of them aren’t until June, though.

This reminds me, I need to find a job. Anywhos, that’s not bad but isn’t it below minimum wage? I thought it was $7 and some spare change but IDK, I haven’t had a job. I’m trying to find something that pays at least $10 p/hr but i am more than willing to settle, I just need to have some sort of income this summer.
and i haven’t watched that show… but celebs can be on it? i mean well khia really isn’t a celeb (unless “D” celebrities count) =P.

45 hours a week?! IMHO, don’t do it. That is a lot. I work 5 days/36 hours a week and I already find that exhausting. I have other friends who work 4 days or 5 days who are also exhausted and they’re not doing 45 hours a week either. You need some time for yourself too!

Wow, that’s working around 7hrs a week more than I do, and I’m earning over $10 more than that - you could definitely find something better - don’t feel obliged to work there just coz your aunt owns it.

that rap reality show sounds like it’s hilarious! 300 dollars a week isn’t bad. Sheesh, I’d take it. But more is always better though Oh the struggles of looking for work…:( Good luck though gal.

Is $6.67 even minimum wage? I was being paid $12 an hour to stock children’s books last summer and I had just turned 16. Hope you get a better job offer.

I’ve never heard of that reality show, but it sounds kind of stupid in my opinion.
That’s too low of pay for 45 hours per week. But if you are desperate then take it. If not, then hold out. Good luck!

Yeah, that show does pretty lame. 45 hours a week is a lot, but $300 a week is good! What kind of work would you have to be doing?

I also need another job lol. I am working at a temporary one selling shoes xD You cannot pay someone enough to deal with crazy weird feet let me tell you! Even 12-15.00 an hour is not worth it lol. I personally don’t really like any reality shows. I actually don’t watch a lot of TV… just a few shows online or I buy seasons of them. I hate commercials *nods*
