Because they totally stole my money. I did an ATM deposit of $335 and they said I only deposited $235. The teller’s drawer was balanced so there’s nothing they can do. They took her word over mine, even though I wrote on the envelope the amount of each bill I deposited (I always do this because it already happened to my aunt twice). I know for a fact how much I deposited because it was birthday money that I got from various people. I made the deposit Aug. 30 and have been battling this thing out until Friday when they decided they’ll give me half because they “the money was never in the envelope.”

Yes, I asked them to just look at the darn cameras of me putting in the money and of the teller counting the money. But guess what? They don’t have security like that. Their security system is cheaper than Target, because whereas Target monitors all cashiers all the time, their cameras just blink from person to person. And of course their tellers know that, that’s why a teller manager of 10 years would be so inclined to steal my $100.

Well, I was going to close my account, but now that Citi? is (supposed to be) buying them out I just may leave it be. I’ve always had a good relationship with Citi (I have their credit card) so if they do end up getting the bank I won’t mind. If Chase gets it, I’ll be even happier. Otherwise I’ll just close my account and transfer what little is in there to my HSBC account.

An Education In Fashion

Have you ever considered going to fashion school? I have, but the idea just never really panned out. While browsing around I came upon this website that has info about fashion schools. I was reading about it on someone’s blog and decided to check it out.

I always thought that fashion school is only if you want to be a fashion designer, and after designing my prom dress (my aunt’s a seamstress :D) I decided that route isn’t really for me. After visiting fashion-schools.org, I’ve learned that there are tons of careers in fashion that don’t have anything to do with designing. There are a wide variety of careers in fashion ranging from design to merchandising to promoting.

If you’ve ever thought about getting an education in fashion, then this website is definitely worth your time. If anything, it will help you to be really sure that this is what you want. And if it is, it will help you to find a great school so you’ll accomplish your goals.

I had a difficult time restoring the database and I thought all my posts were gone! I wouldn’t really mind about my personal posts, but that would also mean being kicked out of Smorty and Sponsored Reviews. And possibly owing money to Smorty. Bleh. It’s not like I would have deleted the posts on purpose anyways.

But, thanks to Lester “Gamerz” Chan (the guy who made WP-DBmanager that I used to backup and restore the database), everything is all hunky dory. Now I have to restore a few hostees accounts and files and then I’ll be good to go!
