As Usual, Life Brings Changes!

I’m 20 now as of August 22 and to be honest it doesn’t feel any different. I can’t tell when I actually felt “older” on a birthday…I think it was probably when I turned 18 and could watch “R” rated movies at a theatre without parent guidance. Well, actually, I don’t think I’ve ever done that yet…but it does feel good to be able to do it if I felt like it.

School is back in session as of last week Monday. I missed the whole first week because I was babysitting on Monday and then on Tuesday this terrible flu-type cold (maybe it was actually the flu, who knows?) took me by surprise and I was out of it for the rest of the week so I didn’t go to school on Wednesday or Friday. Monday was labor day, and yesterday ended up being my first day. I was late to my Trigonometry class and missed a quiz, and when I went to Chemistry the teacher said I don’t have to attend classes unless I learn better by listening because she posts all the notes and Power Points online. I probably should have stayed so that I keep some kind of focus, but it is a 4 o’ clock class that doesn’t end until 5:20 and I really wanted to go home and relax. I had been up since about 7 in the morning!

Site-wise, F.erocio.us is coming to a close. I will attempt to find a new host so that my hostees aren’t affected, but if not I’ll definitely keep in touch and let you guys know by the end of this week (or maybe next week) if you guys need to find a new host. I’ll do my best but it’s not like I can come up with the $700 it would take to keep F.erocio.us open!

Pray for me and my family in Jamaica that these hurricanes won’t do any harm. We’ve had enough bad weather over the past few years to last a lifetime and here comes a Category 1 and a Category 4 hurricane!
