Some Stuff Need A-Fixin’
October 1, 2008 Filed Under: Car stuff, Finances, Life, Sweet Thang 299 words
Apparently the ask-me page (I figured that lol just been lazy) isn’t working, but neither are the downloads. I’m not really sure why the downloads aren’t working, but I’ll look into the problem ASAP (which probably won’t be until Saturday unfortunately) and try to fix it.
Another thing that needs fixing is my car. I got into an accident yesterday morning. I was exiting the turnpike and instead of going smoothly around the bend, my car decided to spin a few times and hit one wall of the bridge and then proceed to hitting the side of a stopped car (same thing had happened to them earlier, but they hit both walls instead of another car). So we’re both just standing there with our cars facing oncoming traffic wondering what we’re going to do about our cars lol. His was totaled but mine only one of the back lights and general area (of the side that hit the wall) is messed up. I’m gonna be driving that messed up car for a good while because I’m already broke enough as it is already.
My old univ was suing me (well, technically they still are), but I managed to get a lady there to help me set up a payment plan. She still needs to send me the paperwork to get it set up but I know I won’t be able to commit to more than about $50/month. I hope they’ll accept that.
I spend like $200+/month for gas and nearly the same for insurance, so that doesn’t leave much out of the money I make after my other bills.
My life is getting worse day by day but somehow I’m managing (I guess because I have no choice?) even though I have little hope of things getting any better.
Do You Have A Laptop Yet?

If you don’t, then now is the time to look for a cheap laptop. With the dwindling economy and the ever-improving technology, the price of computers–laptops included–have been going down. What this means for you is that you can buy a brand new laptop and have an easier life at a very affordable price.
Ever since I got my laptop, everything has become easier. Especially since I have two sisters and a brother and we were all sharing one desktop. I keep track of stuff much better, do better in my classes since I’m more inclined to take notes using my laptop (I type faster than I write), and I have more opportunities to blog and promote my website! A laptop isn’t just for school folks, isn’t just for business folks, it’s for any type of folk and can make anyone’s life much easier!
Right now I would recommend getting a MacBook. And not just because I’m jealous that Nadiyya got one lol. Windows Vista is just kinda kooky and I’ve always loved every Mac that I’ve used (sadly, I don’t own a Mac
).
At SaveBucket’s website, you can compare prices so that you’re sure to get the best deal available. And if you’re not really interested in a Mac, that’s perfectly fine! They’ve got other great brands like Toshiba, Acer and Sony (and plenty more!) for you to choose from!
