I babysat today and took the kids to Boomers. We had so much fun. The girl was so excited because she did the entire golf course. The boy was excited because we got over 1,000 tickets. He got a whoopie cushion and she got a jeans skirt-looking purse. She wanted everything to put in her purse. She asked for my phone, a comb and coin purse that was in my car, gum, and my keys. I told her I can’t give her my phone, just in case someone calls me…and that I can’t give her my keys because I need them to drive with. She’s hilarious.

We then went to Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor, where they make the BEST ice cream IN THE WORLD. The best part is that they have almost every flavor imaginable. I had a banana split, which comes with three flavors of ice cream. After much self-debate, I chose strawberry, coconut, and rum & raisin. I could only get through half of a banana and the scoop of strawberry ice cream because the scoops were enormous. They grew much bigger since the last time I went there (and it has been a while so my bad memory may just be kicking in). Definitely worth the $6.75! Makes me even more upset about wasting my money at Dunkin’ Donuts the other night.

The rest is in my freezer waiting for me to enjoy it tomorrow. I…cannot…wait…

The Most Disgusting Smoothie Ever

I finished babysitting at midnight and I was sleepy. So what does a non-coffee drinker decide to do? Hit up Dunkin’ Donuts and order a smoothie! Little did I know that the only person working at Young Circle Dunkin’ Donuts that night had no idea how to make a smoothie.

First, I ordered the Tropical Smoothie. Why? Because that’s what I like. She says there’s none of those, only Strawberry Banana and Mango Passion. I say I’ll take the Mango Passion and a Apple n’ Spice donut. Not too hard. You throw some mango mix, throw some passion mix, squirt a little yogurt, and fill the blender with the appropriate amount of ice. Blend, throw it in the cup, pop on the lid, and hand it to the customer. Trust me, I know! I used to work at Einstein’s.

So she hands me something (yes, something!), and I go into my car. I noticed that it was thicker than usual and also that it was the color of the Tropical Smoothie, so I tasted it before driving off. YUCK! I went back in and told her that it doesn’t taste right. I wait 15 minutes while she’s helping other people so that I can have the smoothie remade.

The new smoothie was still the wrong consistency, but it was the right color. I taste it and it taste like mangoes but no passion fruit. I decide that it’s no use having her remake it again because she can’t follow simple instructions (yes, they have instruction sheets that they can look at should they forget–or not know in the first place–how to make a simple drink). While it wasn’t disgusting, it was still too thick. I think she probably put ice cream instead of yogurt or only used the mango base and lite ice or something like that. If you’ve ever had a Dunkin’ Donuts smoothie, then you know that it’s usually an icy drink. It’s definitely not supposed to be the consistency of a malt.

I drive home deciding that I wasted my $5.60 that I just got. The donut wasn’t too hot either, by the way.

Just Got My Hair Relaxed

…And It Feels SO Good!

Wow. It’s as if washing my hair didn’t really do a thing! It was beautiful, of course, but I had to use the help of a flat iron to do that. This time I just brought on the pH factor, which really did wonders. Maybe this time I’ll stick to an actual schedule of relaxing my hair every two months. I doubt it…it has been about three months (or maybe even more?) since I last got my hair relaxed. I’m a very lazy girl.

Anyways, my mommy did the whole process for me. She applied the relaxer, shampoo, conditioner, and even oiled my scalp and blow-dried my hair. I ♥love her!

And guess what? I’ve been thinking…and I’m thinking I’ll have time to make a new layout this weekend! I have to confirm everything first before I get everyone’s hopes up (well, really just my own), but I think next week is mid-term week, which means that I only have class on Monday, and one test on Wednesday. After that I should have the rest of the week, plus the next week (SPRING BREAK!!!) off. This weekend I do have to do plenty of studying for the Chemistry test, but once I feel adept I should be ready to make a layout. If not over the weekend, then definitely during the weekday mornings (I begin the two weeks of babysitting every evening Tuesday). I’m so gonna make this one worth the wait (I hope, LOL)!
