The new year has come quite quickly. I’ve thought about all the failures and accomplishments I had the past year, and even considered making resolutions for this year. I’ve decided to do the same thing I do every year….not make any resolution(s). Why bother? People just end up disappointing themselves when they realize that they don’t keep it. I’ve found that stopping (or starting, but stopping is more popular) something is easier at a time other than the beginning of the year. Why? People make changes at times other than New Years because they truly want to, not because they’re supposed to make a change.

I’ve been pork free for a whole year. I stopped sometime in December of 2006, I believe. I think that’s an accomplishment. Especially considering how much I loved bacon. When I used to work at Einstein’s I would eat BLT sandwiches almost everyday. Eventually I switched to just a veggie sandwich (I hate cold cuts).

While I still haven’t gotten over my biggest sin (procrastination), I think it may be possible. The when and if is what I don’t really know. That’s the thing I most want to change, though. If I didn’t procrastinate so much, the sky would be my limit. I’m so blessed and I don’t take advantage of it.

I’ve added PHPAskIt, so make sure to go and ask questions. It’s in the navigation bar (if you haven’t guessed that already). I’ve also added blank buttons over the past few days. I plan on making many changes to this website. That’s something I’ve planned with previous websites before and never followed through, though, so I hope that I do this time around.

Happy New Years and my wish for you all is that God will see you throughout this year, bless your family and your life, and shower you with glorious days.
